Arena’s AMSP is a 32-month career course spread over five semesters. Only those who have completed
class 12 are eligible to apply.
AMSP is a versatile course covering the basics of multimedia and animation, as also web designing and gaming. Evolved concepts like art direction, scripting, art of animation as well as a good amount of real project experience are also included. In AMSP, there is a good balance between creative courses and teaching the latest software. This creates a harmony between technology and creativity.
Such training helps students plan, develop and implement multimedia projects on their own. The course enables students to gain hands-on practice of animation, graphics, games and web designing, as well as digital portfolio development.
Arena’s Graphics & Web Design (GWD) is a 1-year program with 2 semesters - Graphics design & Web design.
The course helps students create a ‘Design Portfolio’ & a ‘Web Portfolio’ of their work.

The course covers graphics, illustrations, composition & layout for print design, web design, web graphics & animation.
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash & JavaScript are among the software/ tools taught in this course.
Arena’s Graphics & Web Design is a 12-month course with the first 6 months devoted to Graphics Design & the last 6 months to Web Design.

Manonmaniam Sundaranar (MS) University has responded to the demands of a challenging, competitive job market by introducing the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) - a system used in many of the world’s most acclaimed universities.
Under the CBCS, students from one department can choose courses from other departments as well. Students can opt for different Core, Allied & optional subjects in each semester & thus, they specialize in the discipline of their choice. For instance, a student may choose to specialize in Modeling & Texturing, Lighting & Rendering, Rigging & Animation, or Compositing & VFX.
The B.Sc Multimedia & Animation course will carry 42 credits in the First Year. 12 credits will be earned for Language courses, 4 credits for Environmental and Value-Added Education, and 26 credits will be earned for Core & Allied Subjects. Thus, students get thorough exposure to their Core subjects while also developing job-oriented soft skills at the same time.
In the 2nd year, 20 credits will be earned for the Core courses & 27 credits will be earned for the Supportive courses.
In the 3rd year, 45 credits will be earned for the Core courses & 5 credits from the Projects.
